Our Mission

To provide free, comprehensive health care for those who cannot afford commercial insurance, yet do not qualify for government assistance.
“When your job lays you off, your benefits go with you… the problem is, you’re still sick.”
– Shepherd’s Clinic Patient

Our Clinic

Since 1991, Shepherd’s Clinic has been an innovator in providing health care for the uninsured. Provided services are available to patients living in nine zip codes in North Baltimore through the time, energy, and spirit of hundreds of dedicated volunteers. Patients are asked to donate $3.00-$9.00 if possible. Most clinic patients (ages 19-64) fall under 200% of poverty and the majority of our patients are working or live in a household with an employed individual.

About Us

Shepherd’s Clinic is located at 2800 Kirk Avenue. The facility houses medical, behavioral health, and wellness services with free parking and public transportation access, and separate patient intake and checkout processing, enhancing patient privacy. It operates exactly like a regular doctor’s office rather than a charitable clinic.
Our goal at Shepherd’s Clinic is to address the issue of people living without insurance.
